Study on vibration control of tunnel blasting under complex environment

Abstract

According to the construction conundrum of Longdongbao Airport tunnel blasting on Guiyang metro Line 2, theoretical analysis and field monitoring are used to analyze the engineering geological conditions and the complex environments around the project, an overall construction scheme and the blasting design method are proposed. According to Sadaovsk empirical formula and the vibration monitoring of building facilities around the blasting source, the least square method is used to conduct regression analysis on the measured data. On this basis, the coefficient α and k value for blasting seismic wave attenuation are calculated, and the right formula of seismic wave propagation suitable for the region is obtained. Then, through calculating the maximum detonation charge for single segment to meet the safety vibration speed requirements for the protected objects, the blasting scale is determined. Test results show that the vibration effect produced by blasting excavation is within the safety allowable range; the correlation between the peak surface velocity and the calculated value of the prediction formula is good, both of them can reflect the vibration law of the surface blasting seismic waves to a certain extent. The project implementation effect verifies the research and conclusion, the proper application of them has ensured the success of engineering blasting.
